About the Monroe County Bar Association
An Association of Attorneys Representing Individuals, Families, Businesses, and Institutions in Monroe County and Beyond

Founded in 1917, the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) numbers among its members attorneys who provide representation and address a wide range of legal needs for individuals, families, businesses, and institutions in Monroe County, throughout the state of Indiana, and beyond the state’s borders.

The mission of the Association is to assist its member attorneys through networking events, educational presentations, and related activities aimed at improving the skill and integrity of the legal profession, throughout Monroe County and Indiana.

If you need to find an attorney in a particular area of practice, our online directory is available to facilitate your search. If you are an attorney admitted to the bar in the State of Indiana and wish to join the MCBA, please download a membership application (pdf).

Each quarter we hold a meeting of the association; the fourth quarter meeting is a holiday party. Dates and location information for MCBA events will be noted on this page.
