About MCBA

Founded in 1917, the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) serves attorneys who address a wide range of legal needs for individuals, families, businesses, and institutions in Monroe County, Indiana and beyond the county borders.

MCBA’s broad mission is to assist provide member attorneys educational opportunities, networking events, and other activities that promote the integrity and collegiality of the legal profession throughout Monroe County and Indiana.

In addition, MCBA aims to support efforts that promote the due administration of justice. In this part of its mission, MCBA supports organizations and events that aim to increase access to legal services and representation.
